diwali, kishore, and air force one
Diwali arrived on November 12th this year. Vallalar and Santhi hosted a get together on Saturday the 13th to celebrate the day. They, as well as the rest of the CTS team, were kind enough to invite me along this year. It was a wonderful time and, as always, I took this opportunity to stuff myself on wonderful Indian food. Plus, it was my first opportunity to show off the kurta that Kishore brought over from Chennai for me. Click here to view the pictures from the event. Kishore came over from Chennai(formerly Madras) for 6 weeks while Suman was on vacation in Kolkata(formerly Calcutta). We really enjoyed the opportunity to work with him face-to-face. Although, as busy as we have been around work lately, Kishore may have preferred to stay at home.
Right before he left, he took pictures with several members of the team here in Fort Worth. I've posted them up so the team members offshore (and anyone else who is interested) can see all the members of the RMS and Planning team. Click here for the pictures.
Another guy I work with, Scott, sent over this picture of the "new" Air Force One. I got such a kick out of it, I thought I would share it with everyone. You've got to wonder how the horns effect wind shear! ![]()

thank you to the veterans!
I just wanted to take a quick moment to honor our many veterans today on Veteran's Day. In today's hectic world, we don't pause often enough to think of the great sacrifices our soldiers have made for this country. I'd like to take a moment to thank them all for helping to protect not only our freedom here at home but honorably protecting our neighbors around the globe as well.
Even in a time like today where you may or may not agree politically with a conflict, I think we can all come together to celebrate our brave men and women who stand strong and are willing to die in order to preserve everything we hold precious as American's! I cannot put into words the gratitude that I feel toward each of the soldiers who nobly defend our country and its ideals! "Thank You" for enabling me to live in the greatest country in the world!
