here's the skinny

We have changed our eating habits completely. We took a years subscription to ediets. They have provided us with weekly menus and shopping lists. We've stuck to the lists most of the time. Although with our hectic schedules sometimes we just have to wing it. We've learned the program well enough to improvise meals as needed. Jason has even lost weight!
Jason? You ask? Due to circumstances beyond his control, Jason has been a fellow resident in the Lennard household for the last couple of months. As a secondary result, I've spent too much time socializing and not enough timing playing full-time geek. Thus, the sporadic updates. (Excuse #1939 in the "Why I Haven't Blogged in a While Handbook).
I have been spending some time on the geek front however. Most recently, I've been trying to decide on what blog software to implement on the server here. blogger has been great, but I want something that is going to offer more control. Plus, I'm very interested in adding RSS and WAP to the site. After all, don't I need to receive copies of my blog on my SprintPCS phone? I'm looking at installing either Moveable Type or Greymatter. Hopefully, I'll have it in place by next week.

We had a wonderful time with Dennis, Melanie, and the whole family. The only bad thing about the trip was that it had to end so soon. A long weekend in NYC is just not enough to take everything in. I guess that just means we have to plan another trip soon.
I'm headed off to work, so I'll try and update this again later with more detail. Enjoy the pictures! (I think the ones from the Bronx Zoo are the best ones.)
it's good to be the king

Maybe it is spending too much time playing with Jason now that he is staying with us. Or, maybe I'm just too damn lazy on the weekends to sit down and make myself update the page. Either way, I have finally updated the site. I've added several new sets of pictures. Be sure to check out all of the photo sections to make sure you haven't missed any. The two latest are Becky's Chicago Trip and Armand's, the Accor CFO, retirement.
Becky and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary a week early here in New York City. The trip really serves two purposes -- celebrating the fact that Becky and I haven't killed each other after being married 10 years and to finally visit Dennis and his family here in New Jersey. I've been promising Dennis to visit since he moved up here. Becky has seen him several times because of her travel up here for work. This is the first time I've made the journey. So, it is about time.
I'm being a good tourist and redneck staying in a metropolitan city by taking lots of pictures of things New Yorkers take for granted. I'll get some of them posted tonight so you can see what Becky and I are doing. Be sure to check back tomorrow for more photographs. I've got to run and get ready to head out to the Garden State so that Dennis and I can drive our wives crazy!
