holiday season

Even though the holidays have kept us very busy, they have been great! It is always wonderful to get a chance to spend time with our friends and family. Thanksgiving and Hanukkah with Becky's family... Then home to Wichita Falls to spend Christmas Eve with Diane. We followed up on Christmas day with Mom, Skip, Becky, and the boys. New Year's Eve was the traditional evening at the Johnson's. It was a whirlwind, but one of the best holidays ever!

On the weekend between Christmas and New Year's, Jason and I took the boys out to start learning how to fly their new R/C planes. We were lucky on flight day - very little wind and unusually warm for the end of December. The boys did very well for their first time out. We were able to fly for a couple of hours before we managed to wreck the planes enough times they had to "return to home base for repairs." A few more weekends controlling the park flyers and the boys should have it down. We may sit them down for a few hours on the R/C simulator, too.

I've put up several new sets of pictures. Be sure to checkout the latest updates box on the right hand side of the main page. All five links are to new sets of pictures. I've posted pictures from the holiday party at RadioShack, Amanda and Becky working on the computer, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and flying with the boys. I hope you get a kick out of them and had a wonderful holiday season!
