database experimentation

Well, once again, I've done a good job of taking a long time to get another post up. Chalk it up to another case of computer burnout. By now, I'm sure you've figured out that I end up working on these pages in bursts.

I just finished one today. In an attempt to learn more about utilizing Access databases and ASP programming, I've added the ability to comment on each of my entries. Ultimately, I'm still working toward my goal of an online family tree. I needed to hone my web database skills first. So, when you finish reading, drop me a comment and let me know that you are out there. It be nice to know my efforts don't go wholly unnoticed.

Be sure to check out the photos from Whitney's 16th birthday party. I can't imagine my niece being 16. It seems just like yesterday when I was playing with a baby crawling on the carpet. It is amazing how time flies! I guess I should have believed my parents when they said it would. (Among other things... But that would take up an entire novel.)

More updates soon!
