Contrary to the number of text updates I've done lately, I haven't just been sitting on the beach tossing my cares away. I've actually had quite a few things going on. I've managed to keep the pictures updated here, but - as always - I've been a bit lax about updating the text.
In case you weren't aware, you can always check the latest update box in the upper right section of the website for the latest pictures I've added. I have finally managed to get all of the descriptions updated again. Please let me know if you find any errors in the descriptions. I've done my best, but I was educated in the public school system. (grin)
The next new features I hope to add to the site are message boards and the Lennard family genealogy pages. I've started researching the genealogy information, but I'm waiting for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to finish updating their XML technical specifications. The Mormons are still the biggest innovators in technologies and standards around genealogy and family trees. I want to stick to the standards to enable more of the family members to get involved and easily contribute to the family tree.
It is the busy time of year for Becky, so she has started working Saturdays. That gives Jason and me more time to do "guy stuff." Not that I'm objecting. Nothing like grown men playing with RC planes and other big boy toys. We put a new smoker together last weekend, too. This weekend you should be able to find us sitting in the pool and slow smoking a brisket. Ah, the good life... I'm off for now. I'd tell you I'll try to be better about updating, but we all know that won't happen!
